How to record a compatible Video for analysis

To ensure your video is compatible with AthleteVision AI's analysis, follow these detailed guidelines:

  1. No People in the Frame: Make sure no other people are visible in the shot, except for the athlete. Avoid capturing crowds or bystanders.

  2. Stable Camera Setup: Place your camera, smartphone, or tablet on a tripod to keep the footage steady and avoid any camera shake during filming.

  3. Vertical Orientation: Film the video in vertical (portrait) mode. This is important for the AI's optimal analysis.

  4. Zoom In Appropriately: Use a zoom camera, ideally at 2x zoom or higher. The longer the zoom, the better the clarity of the climb. You should have a distance larger than 10m from the wall. Ensure the zoom captures enough detail without losing the full route in the frame.

  5. Frame the Route Correctly: Position the camera so that the entire speed climbing route is clearly visible within the frame. There should be minimal overhead or excess space around the route. Focus on just the necessary climbing area.

  6. Quality Settings: Record in 4K resolution with a frame rate of 30 frames per second (fps) for the best video quality. Compresed and Downsampled videos from Social Media Platforms cannot be processed.

  7. Post-Recording Editing: After capturing the video, trim it to only include the speed climbing run. Cut away any unnecessary footage from the beginning and end, focusing purely on the athlete's ascent.

By following these steps, your video will be fully compatible with AthleteVision AI’s analysis tools.
